Fundamentals

Here at Crossfit Groove, we believe that a solid foundation will make your CrossFit Journey a smooth one.

This is why we will be covering the 9 foundational movements of Crossfit: (Air Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat, Strict Press, Push Press, Push Jerk, Dead Lift, Sumo Deadlift, and Med-ball Cleans) and other accessory movements so that the transition to our Intermediate/Advenced classes can be a smooth one

The coach will not only teach these movements to beginners but will offer great advice on technique and form so you feel totally confident stepping into a regular crossfit class.

After a month of Fundamentals you feel and perform better and will be able to step with confidence in to any of our other classes.

Feel like you are not a total beginner? Say you have been in a gym just not a “crossfit” gym. We advise you to still take one fundamental course. Crossfit can be intimidating and this is the easiest and smoothest transition! Please feel free to call or email with any comments or concerns.
